REDWOOD CITY, California, July 24, 2014 – AVAST Software, maker of the most-trusted security in the world, today announced the acquisition of Inmite, a mobile application development firm. Through the acquisition, AVAST adds 40 experts to its mobile products unit, reporting to Jude McColgan, AVAST’s recently appointed President of Mobile.

Inmite has a proven track record of developing apps for leading companies spanning the automotive, banking, media and telecommunications industries. The company also developed the world's first Google Glass banking prototype, and is recognized by Google as a Top Developer on Google Play.
