Trademark and Copyright License Agreement
THIS TRADEMARK AND COPYRIGHT LICENSE AGREEMENT (“AGREEMENT”) IS ENTERED INTO BETWEEN GEN DIGITAL INC. (“GEN”) AND THE ENTITY AND/OR INDIVIDUAL YOU REPRESENT IN EXECUTING THIS AGREEMENT (“YOU”). YOU MUST READ AND ACCEPT THIS AGREEMENT BEFORE USING THE LOGOS AND/OR IMAGES ON THIS SITE. BY CLICKING THE "ACCEPT" BUTTON, YOU AGREE TO BE BOUND BY ALL OF THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THIS AGREEMENT.
You agree that Gen owns good and valuable rights, title and interest in and to the trademarks, logos, or other distinctive features of the Gen brand and images, web pages, and written materials (collectively the “Content”) contained on this website.
Subject to compliance with this Agreement, Gen grants you a revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, royalty-free, personal and limited right to use the Content available on the following page for internal, non-commercial personal use only. Use of the Content must be in unaltered form, and otherwise solely in the manner described herein and in accordance with the guidelines found at https://www.nortonlifelock.com/about/legal/trademark (the “Guidelines”). You may not use the Content in any manner whatsoever other than as expressly permitted hereunder. To the extent you have a separate trademark or copyright license agreement with Gen, or other agreement under which you are expressly licensed to use Gen trademarks or copyrights, the terms and conditions of such other agreement shall exclusively control.
You agree that Gen retains all rights, title and interest in and to the Content. Except as expressly granted herein, you shall not have rights in or to the Content. You represent and warrant that you will use the Content solely as provided in this Agreement and will not use the Content in any manner which, in Gen’s sole judgment, will diminish or damage Gen’s rights or goodwill in the Content. Gen reserves the right in its sole discretion to terminate or modify your permission to display the Content and to take action against any use that does not conform to these terms and conditions, infringes any Gen intellectual property or other right, or violates applicable law.
GEN LICENSES THE CONTENT “AS IS”, AND ALL EXPRESS AND IMPLIED WARRANTIES AND CONDITIONS (INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE) ARE DISCLAIMED.
Furthermore, because you are not being charged for use of the Content, in no event shall Gen be liable to you for the subject matter of this Agreement under any theory of liability including for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, exemplary or other damages arising out of this Agreement or the use of the Content.
