LifeLock, Inc. (NYSE: LOCK), an industry leader in identity theft protection, today opened its first Washington, D.C., office and announced that Kimberly Allman is joining the company as vice president, government affairs and corporate social responsibility. Allman will lead LifeLock's government affairs initiatives, as well as the company's corporate social responsibility portfolio, LifeLock for Good, focused on consumer education, empowerment and community engagement.

The establishment of the Washington, D.C., office signals the expansion of LifeLock's corporate social responsibility portfolio. A dedicated public servant, Allman most recently served the Obama Administration as director of government relations at the Corporation for National and Community Service (CNCS). CNCS is the country's largest grantmaker to nonprofit organizations, engages over five million Americans in service programs including AmeriCorps and Senior Corps and leads a number of programs committed to improving communities nationwide including the Social Innovation Fund and United We Serve.

"As LifeLock opens its Washington, D.C., office, we're delighted Kim Allman is leading the team. She brings with her incredible experience working with policymakers across federal, state and local governments to address a myriad of issues," said Jill Nash, executive vice president, corporate affairs. "Considering Kim's experience across all levels of government, LifeLock is certain our government affairs and corporate social responsibility efforts will yield even greater results for consumers and partners under her leadership."

Prior to her work at CNCS, Allman ran an independent public policy consulting firm where she worked with state Attorneys General, led state legislative efforts for both TechAmerica and the Recording Industry Association of America, and worked as part of the law and public policy team at MCI WorldCom and served as press secretary to Rep. Louise Slaughter (D-NY). A Michigan native, Allman also served as a policy advisor to Michigan's Senate Democratic Caucus.
